Website Design and Development Visions
- Norton Supply Coin-Op Laundry Wholesale Company - Dave initially worked with Norton Supply as the primary in-house print graphic designer; designing, from concept to completion a 56 page quarterly product catalog distributed to 36,000 coin-operated businesses across the country. The Norton Supply website, has been optimized from a user experience stand point multiple times based upon Google Analtytics statistics and findings, as well as direct customer feed back. Dave initially designed wire frames for the site working directly with the Norton Supply team to ensure that the site meets end-user needs. Our designs included embedded video, 7 pages of coin-laundry resource guides, and four informative customer resource pages as well as a full product catalog which through the help of the work of the team at Volusion E-commerce, includes, full online check-out and the ability for Norton Supply to easily update the site as needed.
- Precious Metals Reclaiming Service - Precious Metals Reclaiming Service had an interesting marketing issue; dm Design needed to orchestrate that website design in order to show Precious Metals Reclaiming 60 plus years of experience in the jewelry and industrial metals reclaiming business, differentiate itself from other far too flashy competitor websites, while still holding the users interest and allowing for easy contact with the company for all personal and industrial metals reclaiming needs.
Our design solution includes, contact forms on every page, a full re-branding campaign including a new logo and color palette, professional imagery taken by dm Design, and an embedded flash intro within the home page.
dm Design is currently working as Precious Metals complete Search Engine Optimization and print marketing solution for newspaper and industry magazine advertisements and continuing to improve the website based on Google Analytics data.
Precious Metals has seen incredible results from our teams work, including a 50% increase in the average time spent on the site, continued growth in daily visitors with an initial growth of over 65% increase in unique daily visitors to the site up from 40 visitors per day to over 120 visitors on average per day.
- Furry Friends Professional Pet Care Services - Furry Friends is the number one Pet Care Service in Rhode Island, and dm Design had a blast setting the site up, working with owners Alysha and Rich to develop a complete e-commerce solution for the company.
Furry Friends needed to highlight their all-natural pet care products in an aesthetically pleasing and fully functional manner. The site is complete with shopping cart, shipping cost adjustments based on zip code and clean and crisp product imagery all coming together in an easy to navigate addition to their existing website.
- Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Corporate Headquarters, Boston, MA - Project: Work with 7 other designers and developers under the direction of a project manager and the head of online marketing for Liberty Mutual Insurance, to ensure that the new website design standards for the company were met on schedule and to the marketing specifications.
Learning Everyday: We were able to use this opportunity to understand how others manage a multi-talented group effectively.
Overall Experience: We had a blast at Liberty Mutual, the team was great, they were helpful, knowledgeable and our team leaders and managers worked well with everyone and understood how to delegate appropriate tasks to individual's skill and knowledge levels.
- Project AMI, Buy a Net Save a Life! - The site is built on a fully customized Word Press content management platform. Project AMI was looking for a web presence that would really spell out exactly what the non-profit does and intends to do going forward to help curb malaria in Africa and increase education and literacy amongst the hardest hit regions of Africa.
- What Would Jeff Do? - What Would Jeff Do? is a site that dm Design had a blast working on and finishing up the last few details for our new client; expert dog training and radio personality, Jeff Gellman.
Our solution includes download-able podcasts of the What Would Jeff Do? radio show, a videos page that can be easily updated by their internal team via a robust client-side WYSIWG (What you see is what you get) text and visual editor. The text editor also allows the company to easily update weekly radio show events, upload past show mp3 podcasts, update the upcoming guests section, the client can update News and Events and give the listeners to his show a real-time interactive experience as well as easily data basing previous shows.
- Fast Glass Service Inc. - Fast Glass Service came to us looking for a clean, professional website that would keep the focus on their work while enriching the users web experience as well. - Pan City Grille, Southern New England Dining - Lately, our design visionary team has been on a 3-dimensional design for the web look, you will find that with the unique backdrop for Pan City Grille. The lower half of the Pan City Site appears to sit back into the screen.
The Pan City website includes, their Phantom Gourmet 2008 Golden Plate Award Video, interactive embedded Google Maps feature for directions to the restaurant, a full menu listing, contact form page and embedded landing page flash design.
